This days we hear our amiable aspirants going from one local government area or from one hotel to the other as the case may be to consult caucuses. What has happened to consulting stake holders, youth groups and women leaders. If our concentration is all about winning the primaries how about the general elections. Will the caucuses vote in the next governor, senator, house of reps and house of assembly too?

I wonder.
All we hear at the end of each declaration of intent is how much money is been dropped by each aspirant. And an uproar when one over drops. We hear he has been adopted because of the value ofhis cash donation to the members of caucus. Who now share as transport back to where ever they came from.
My people the issues of this caucus meetings is becoming so funny that the elections are now been used for fund raising forgetting the true purpose for which they were inaugurated. What is the criteria for selecting qualified candidates other than how much they have received. Should any right thinking candidate base his success in the polls in this caucuses?
Let’s see how it goes.
