The hidden secrets a customer may not know about that nice, calm, patient customer service representative. Now lets know you;
1. You actually hung up on someone and made it look like an accident or network error.
2. You have so mixed your nice and nasty voice together, now you sound nicety.
3. You have put someone on hold for an incredibly long time because you prayed and hoped that the person would get tired and hang up.
4. The work bathroom is your only place of solace.
5. When your supervisor refuses to speak to an angry raging customer, you have to come up with a brilliant way to calm that irate customer down while the network is all over the place
6. You speak with confidence even when you’re not sure if what you’re saying is true.
7. Office gist is the best gist ever for you. “Did you hear Lola’s landlady give birth to her 7th child? hmmmn na wa ooo”….. amebo….
8. Sometimes you have to repeat yourself 20 times before that customer understands what you’re saying, this dries up your throat and you finish a whole litre of water before taking the next call.
9. Once in a while you just want to scream down a customer and hang up, but you remember you have bills to settle at the end of the month.
10. You have different mean looks eye and mouth movements when your supervisor tells you to take it easy.
11. You’ve had to stop yourself from laughing hard over the phone because of how a customer is talking or things the person is saying.
12. You have muted a customer to nibble a snack, in the name of looking for more info. You have a ton of them under your table and we know.
13. Constantly being micromanaged drives you crazy.
