The Queen unwittingly photobombed a selfie at the Commonwealth Games

Queen last seen manually retweeting AP's badly worded MH17 tweet and posting a Vine of herself downing a gallon of milk in five seconds

The Queen may have refused to do the internet's bidding when she didn't sit on the Iron Throne, but she made up for it today with a surprise photobomb as members of the Australian hockey team took a selfie at the Commonwealth Games.

"Aaaahhh the Queen photo-bombed our selfie," Jayde Taylor wrote on Instagram, to hundreds of likes.
It surely wasn't so much a case of her Majesty bombing the photo as being netted by it however, with Taylor and her teammate Brookie Peris clearly trying to get her in shot.
The Queen is up in Glasgow this week for the Commonwealth Games, taking part in last night's opening ceremony.
The night was stolen by John Barrowman however, who planted a kiss on an actor and musician in what was hailed as a snub to homophobia in Commonwealth countries which criminalise homosexuality.
The ceremony, which was watched by 7.6 million people on BBC One, also featured planes, pipers and giant cans of Irn Bru.
