Boko Haram Bomb Mosque Near Emir’s Palace In Yobe.

The tragic incident took place during the evening prayers, and eyewitnesses said the entire mosque collapsed in response to the blast.

Many residents are reportedly killed in an explosion that occurred in Potiskum, Yobe State, on Tuesday night. DailyPost has gathered that the explosion went off in a highly populated area, close to the Emir’s palace, an indication that casualty figure will be very high.

At the moment, no official report on casualty figure has been obtained, but a witness who spoke with DailyPost on phone, said he couldn’t give details as he was just recovering from the shock. He simply say, “I will get back to you. I can’t talk now”.

The Defence Headquarters also confirmed the news late last night via its twitter handle, but promised to give details later.Another eyewitness however said, the entire mosque was completely razed.

DailyPost recalls that several incidents of bomb blasts occurred at different parts of the North during the Eid al-Fitr celebration.
