Happy birthday to the godfather of Nigerian comedy, Alibaba.

For those who don’t know, Alibaba reinvented commercial comedy in Nigeria in 1991. He came to Lagos in 1999 after being literally disowned by his father who would rather prefer his son to become a lawyer, but comedy has paid off after all. Today, Alibaba is the renowned godfather of Nigerian/ African comedy and has influenced every other comedian in the game till date.
