Ooo… the things that happen in Naija as they say. This is a very hilarious audio clip story that has hit social media and will not be going away for a long time.
The audio reveals conversations between a lady who identified herself as Uche from the Etisalat mobile network and the wife of a customer.
The audio began with polite introductions from Uche and her mobile network and vice versa from the woman who simply said she ‘worked with’ the customer that was being asked for. Uche informed that she was doing routine check-ups on customers to know how they were faring with their lines and if there were problems but met resistance from the woman in the third minute of the clip when she (Uche) repeatedly said she would call again as the customer wasn’t close by to take the call himself apparently making the woman suspicious. The conversation went downhill from there…

Uche was accused of husband snatching and warned sternly never to call again.
How the audio got downloaded on social media is what we don’t know. It’s authenticity is also not certain but it came off so believable and has gone viral.  It has even prompted witty Nigerians to make video and audio versions of their own.

An apparently embarrassed Uche tried to further clarify the motive for her call, but the dogged wife would have none of it. LOL.
