Bruce Jenner has starred on the cover of Vanity Fair as a woman in a stunning shoot for Annie Leibovitz and has revealed her name as Caitlyn Jenner.
In the first look at Bruce as a woman, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star poses demurely in an ivory corset, it is the first time the public has seen the former Olympian as a female, following the announcement that he was transitioning from a man to a woman earlier this year.
Celebrity photographer Leibovtiz is clearly an amazing choice for Bruce, and has clearly handled Caitlyn with sensitivity and glamour.
In her interview for the cover feature, which were taken at her Malibu home, Caitlyn said: “If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life.’ ”
In his life-changing interview with Diane Sawyer that aired in April, Bruce said that he was not ready to reveal his female name, as he said: "If I do (reveal the name), the media will go crazy and I'll never get rid of them."
He then joked his name won't start with a 'K', referencing the first letter used by wife Kris, step-daughters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe, and daughters Kendall and Kylie, adding: "She's definitely a Jenner."
Caitlyn has now got a Twitter account, and said: "I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can't wait for you to get to know her/me."
In the stunning shoot, Caitlyn can be seen in a glamorous cleavage-baring ball gown, as well as a sparky sequined dress as she stands by her patio windows.
In another shot, Caitlyn’s curves as covered up in a silk kimono, and her hair is tended to by a glam squad that step-daughter Kim Kardashian would be proud of.
Last week, pictures of Bruce with dyed blonde hair appeared as he continues his glamorous transformation.
Kim was recently filmed going through Bruce’s new wardrobe picking out the items that she liked and even giving him advice on how to be “chicer”.
During the Keeping Up With The Kardashians: About Bruce special, the former Olympian admits he’d stolen one of her outfits in the past.
Mother-of-one Kim, who was seen visiting her stepdad Bruce with husband Kanye West recently, has spoken candidly about how the family is dealing with Bruce's transition.
"I think Bruce is afraid to let us down. We want to understand his struggle. We want to learn about it, relate to it in some way," she explained.
"I think what hurts us when we hear something is changing and happening and we don't know about it. We want to be in the loop."
In the emotional and groundbreaking sit-down special with Diane Sawyer, Bruce said: “Yes, for all intents and purposes, I am a woman.”
“My whole life has been getting me ready for this,” he said in the interview.

Caitlyn panicked after 10-hour surgery
Caitlyn underwent surgery to make her face more feminine on March 15th.
While it was thought that it would take five hours - she was in surgery for 10 hours.
The dramatic change left her having a panic attack after she came round from the operation.
A counselor paid a visit from the Los Angeles Gender Center to help Caitlyn talk through her experience and the anxiety - revealing that the reaction could be down to a number of factors including pain killers as well as human nature.

Jenner kids' refuse to take part in docu-series - leaving Caitlyn 'terribly hurt'
Caitlyn was "terribly disappointed and terribly hurt" when his children - Brody, Burt, Brandon and Cassandra - said they wouldn't be in his upcoming docu-series about his journey.
The four children were in the Diane Sawyer Bruce Jenner special but will NOT be featuring in her upcoming E! docu-series that will air in the summer.
Now Caitlyn says that she's accepted their decision to stay out of it and avoid cashing in on the journey.
Caitlyn's mum thought it was a publicity stunt for CASH
The Kardashian and Jenner families have never been shy about cashing in on nearly every moment or their life, and it was a question that weighed heavily on 89-year-old Esther.
Talking to Vanity Fair about Caitlyn’s decision to leave Bruce behind,Esther revealed that she had lain at night thinking about the transition and what the motives were.
“I woke up one night and all I was thinking about is: Why is it necessary (for Caitlyn) to go through all these surgeries? Is this all about making money? And that was bothering me,” Esther said.
Esther, who gave a message of support during Bruce’s documentary with Diane Sawyer, said that her question stemmed from the lifestyle Caityln had once lived as a husband to Kris Jenner.
“He’s lived a life the last 25 years – and I don’t know if it was both he and Kris or mainly Kris – it seemed like their lifestyle was about money; that’s why it came to my mind.”

While we're sensitive to the use of pronouns with regards to Caitlyn going forward, she even admitted that it's something she's still working on.
In the honest interview with Buzz Bissinger for Vanity Fair, she admits that it's not something she gets sensitive over at the moment and recalls a moment when it slipped out of her mind out of habit.
“I don’t really get hung up,” she told Buzz.
“A guy came in the other day and I was fully dressed - it’s just habit, I said, ‘Hi, Bruce here,’ and I went, Oh f***, it ain’t Bruce, I was screwing up doing it.”

Kim was meant to be the most supportive of the Kardashian Klan over Bruce's transition into Caitlyn, but - she didn't seem to be clued into the unveiling of Caitlyn's Vanity Fair cover.
In a world where Kim and the rest of the Kardashian/Jenner family are so well orchestrated - we were surprised to see that Kim didn't have a message ready to go.

But Kanye wasn't 'assigning blame'
Leibovitz, who has worked with icons such as John Lennon, the Queen and more, shot Kimye and their daughter North for Vogue - so Kanye's comments certainly raised some eyebrows.
The matter was cleared up pretty quickly.
A rep for the photographer said: “Kanye West’s comments about Annie Leibovitz while speaking at the 2014 Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival have been taken out of context and sensationalized.
“She would have loved to have taken their wedding portrait and was disappointed it didn’t happen.”
While a rep for the Power rapper said: “Although Kanye expressed frustration that he was not able to collaborate with Annie Leibovitz at his recent wedding, he is not assigning blame, and is not accusing Annie in any way.
"Unbeknownst to Kanye, she was never confirmed. Kanye and Annie’s representatives were in negotiations for weeks that were not completed by the time of the wedding."
Kanye accused Annie Leibovitz of being 'scared of celebrity'
Kanye West once accused the famed photographer of being "scared of the idea of celebrity" and had 'pulled out' of his wedding to Kim Kardashian in May last year.
Speaking at a Cannes Lions press conference, he said: “Let me tell you something about that kiss photo that my girl put up … this was pissing my girl off during the honeymoon, she was exhausted because we worked on the photo so much because Annie Leibovitz pulled out right before the wedding.
“I think that she was, like, scared of the idea of celebrity.”

There are two Caitlyn's in the family already. Well, sort of.

After becoming a woman, Caitlyn has finally revealed her name - and some fans are glad that it doesn't start with K.
