As Anambra State prepares for Nov 6 election…

An Open Letter to Nigerians By Akuson Henry- The Amalgamation Has Ended, Your Vote Counts.

The controversy , tension and enthusiasm  in Nigerians due to the upcoming 2015 election has never been felt like this in the country’s history, hearts and minds are so focus and willing to know more about politics amongst the old/young and mostly how they can participate fully. People have now learnt that their vote actually counts and their support to any political party is resourceful, but yet we should resist violence and embrace innovative peace.  Nations and kingdoms have fallen because of the ignorant use of violence – look at the lessons we learnt

in World War 1, World War 2 and also the Civil war in Nigeria. I strongly believe that a social revolution is what Nigeria needs not a bloody revolution today. Here is a quote from the manual of life -The Bible “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”( Hosea  4:6)  We’re God’s people and we have the wisdom of God, don’t sell your vote or destroy yourself and the nation because of lack of knowledge, get wisdom and in all your getting also get understanding for as a man thinks in his heart so is he. Think wisely before you make your vote this 2015.

May i remind you that the amalgamation contract from 1914 – 2014 has been terminated and was marked by the centurion celebration in Nigeria which created the introduction of the new N100 note in 2015. Now 2015 start’s the beginning of the season of jubilee in Nigeria and is very important that we embrace peace, patriotism and productivity in the nation for Nigeria will only be built by Nigerians. Let’s remember the labor of our heroes past and help the youth the truth to know as we build a nation were peace and justice reigns -for God has blessed Nigeria richly and has given us the capacity to handle any challenge we face as a nation, take the case of Ebola-how we successfully wiped it out of the country because everyone worked in unity. Also with our richly diverse cultures and languages, the impeccable skills which we as individuals possess and can develop quickly with the right consistent training. Nigerians are creatively blessed people who can create something resourceful out of nothing, for example our very own Nigerian born Dr Emeagwali Philip who created the fastest computer in the world right now and Alh Aliko Dangote who is currently the richest man in Africa and Nigeria now also our very own Genevieve Nnaji a professional international actress who has made us proud and worked her way to the top as a global figure… I can go on!

It’s time we as Nigerians choose to do the right things always and also invest our talent, skills, intelligence, business, career, time, prayer, etc.  to the development of this great nation Nigeria, the giant of Africa. I call on our entire patriotic citizen based or doing business in foreign lands - please come back home and invest in the land of Nigeria our Mother Land; lets grow our country Nigeria together  for our unborn generations not to curse us but to celebrate us. Let’s learn to see and confess possibilities, i always say this everywhere  i  go that Nigerians will start experiencing  24/7/52 uninterrupted power supply  in every  region of the 36 states and FCT, no rural area will be left out but my friends will laugh and cannot believe.  A wise man once said “If you can replace negative thoughts with positive thoughts, you will tend to have positive results”.  I will leave you with these final words - Our most important objective at this time is to keep steadfast in prayer  for  God  to place his seed  “The God Seed”  in every position of government power so that the will of God will keep happening  for  Nigeria. I urge all Nigerians not to complain, create arguments, sell your vote or get into any form of violent activities but to simple go out and vote peacefully from your conscience. Thank you - God bless Nigeria.
