Global Day of Prayer with Pastor Chris

Ballot boxAs controversies fueled by the much-awaited 2015 elections continues, the polity is getting heated, the atmosphere appears tense. And taken on face value, nearly everybody, it seems is ambivalent about the potential outcome of the election.
Since Nigeria’s return to civilian government in 1999, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has ruled the country almost unchallenged.
The 2015 general election, is one of the most anticipated elections the country has witnessed in recent times owing to the fact that parties such as the ACN, ANPP have all joined forces to birth the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This move according to many will put the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on its toes because for the past 15 years, Nigerians have been under the PDP rulership, so to a large extent, they yearn for an alternative.
As the elections draw nearer, many questions are left unanswered even as Nigerians hope for a peaceful, free and fair election come 2015.
For this to happen, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has a key role to play in ensuring free and fair elections that express the will of the people.
