Cristiano Ronaldo statue erected at his own museum in Madeira

If this new statue of Cristiano Ronaldo is anatomically correct, then, well… he was clearly excited to pose for it

When you're Cristiano Ronaldo, you can pretty much do what you like.

Favourite for the Ballon d'Or, leader of the team who have just been crowned world champions… anything is possible for a man as talented and loved as the Portuguese superstar.

So when the nice people in his hometown of Funchal, on the island of Madeira, decided they wanted to build a statue of their favourite son, Ronnie was no doubt able to make some requests.

We can only assume he had some very specific instructions regarding one particular part of the sculpture. Either that, or he posed for it when he was feeling a bit excited about something…
