Two children who were abducted from their Magodo home in Lagos have been returned to their parents after their maid kidnapped and held them hostage for 4 days.
2-year-old Rafael and 15-month old Michael Esharegaran, who were kidnapped on Sunday, December 7, were dropped off at a Police station in Sagamu, Ogun State after their parents paid a ransom of N2.5 million into a bank account.
The maid, Juliet, was hired via e-commerce platform, OLX, after the boys’ mother, Onajite Esharegharan, responded to a December 2 advert for a “humble housemaid.”
A source close to the family confirms to Pulse that the boys have been picked up by their parents and are now ‘safe and sound’.
